Overnight Postpartum Doula Support

An overnight postpartum doula support shift provides targeted postpartum support for those families needing additional support after baby’s arrival. Services are provided in your home, with a focus on protecting your rest and recovery during an 8-hour overnight shift (typically 10 pm - 6 am).

This product includes the following services:

• Free initial consultation/interview

• One 30-minute virtual postpartum planning sessions to get acquainted, discuss support needs and options, review postpartum plans, and prepare for the postpartum period (when possible)

• In-home overnight postpartum support, including:

  • assistance with self-care recovery measures and in caring for and feeding your new baby/babies

  • guidance on parent and baby care

  • infant feeding support (including breastfeeding, bottle feeding, and combo feeding)

  • help adjusting to new roles

  • light household support (e.g., starting baby laundry, washing bottles)

• Referrals as needed to community or other resources

• Up to 8 hours of in-person overnight postpartum support [additional hours beyond 8 will be billed at the hourly rate of $55/hour]

Total fee: $440 for 8 hours. No added or hidden charges for the services described above.
